Water-Based Lubrication |

This is a really good choice, since it is used to simulate the natural feel of
vaginal fluid. Water-based lube varies from liquid to jellies.
Ideally, water-based lubes are great for use with condoms and sex toys, since
it won't break down the materials used in making them. Though they do not
have the lasting power that a silicon-based lubrication would have, they do
come in a variety of flavors, and yes clean up is a snap, unlike the silicon
varieties.
On a side note, did you know that Astro-Glide was developed by a NASA subcontractor who was experimenting with rocket engine coolants. Since it did not favor well with the engineers of NASA, they had the vision that it would do great as a lubricant, not just a coolant, and so Astro-Glide was brought to the market, and has done quite well. It is fairly expensive, but a little dab will do ya, its non-staining, washes out of clothes and bed sheets, and it doesn't dry out like water-based lubricants. Other Water-based lubricants are the K-Y Jellies, any of the spermicides, and yes Saliva is also a great water-based lube (it is totally natural and non-toxic). For you flavored types, try Sex Tart Lubrication it is water-based, non-toxic, non-staining, sugar-free, and latex friendly. Comes in a variety of flavors and one taste of this lube will keep you licking and sucking the whole night. | |
